Customer planning questions

Residential Moving FAQs.

What should be included when reviewing pricing for residential moving in Bristol?

At the final residential moving review, the team prepares an itemized scope after reviewing inventory, access, distance, and requested services. The crew should not have to guess about it at the door.

Who should direct destination placement for residential moving in Bristol?

Before residential moving, decide where large furniture belongs, which rooms need to function first, and who can answer placement questions during unloading. A short note now is easier than a decision beside a loaded truck.

What should I report about property access for residential moving in Bristol?

For this residential moving request, share stairs, elevator rules, floor-protection requirements, gate codes, and the path between the truck and each home. The final estimate should answer the question, not leave it implied.

How detailed should the residential moving scope in Bristol be?

For a written residential moving plan, the proposed scope should spell out Home-specific protection plan, Apartment and HOA coordination, and Disassembly notes for large pieces. Review the list before treating the date as reserved. That keeps the plan tied to the job the crew will actually find.

When should I share changes to the residential moving plan in Bristol?

On a residential moving job, if the household grows, an elevator window changes, or keys will arrive later, update the estimator before moving day. Clear ownership prevents a handoff from being missed.

What happens during crew preparation for residential moving in Bristol?

While residential moving is being planned, the working sequence is Plan the household, Prepare and protect, and Settle the new rooms. Adjust that order during the walkthrough if the property or inventory calls for it. The crew should not have to guess about it at the door.

Moving experiences with New Generation Movers

Daniel and Roger took excellent care of our belongings! They were so organized and careful; it was a pleasure doing business with them! Highly recommended!!

Really get moving experience with this team. They were quick and efficient and really took the extra time and care to make sure my items were secured and arrived safely, especially my glass items! During the move we ran into some spacial issues with a tight hall and large furniture and not once did anyone need to yell “PIVOT!” 🤣 They had clearly done this enough to be able to problem solve on the fly and not need to force anything. Highly recommend!

The moving went fine. The packers were crazy efficient. The movers were awesome. Everyone was friendly. My only problem was the invoicing. I paid the portion not covered by my employer but they still invoiced my employer who also sent me a bill! At that point, no one would call me back. Communication with the office was not easy.

Easy to work with. They will pack everything for you, or you can pack and save some money. All involved with our move were professional, courteous, on time and very careful with our things. If we move again, we would definitely use New Generation Movers.

From mid-June 2024. Had such a great experience with the movers themselves and the logistics staff pre-move! Arshpreet, Jaspinder and Jaspreet were so efficient and made sure things were wrapped and not easily damaged.
